This beautiful bass had an internal issue. The owner, in attempt to better secure the pots to the body, used an epoxy and scotch tape to the electronics cavity.

While the security of the pots were no longer an issue, some of the epoxy used, found it’s way into the pot’s electronics and caused intermittent connectivity.

It was decided the easiest and quickest option was to replace the preamp of the system. The stock Schecter preamp was replaced with a Seymour Duncan – Blackout STC-2S-BO. This allowed the same control configuration and… If I do say so myself, awesome preamp controls!
